First Prototype

Once lockdown commenced I threw myself into working on everything digital. I initially focused on my planning and class site development, making sure that there was a parent help page, how to videos and a clear layout for the students to navigate unaided.
This got me thinking about my prototype. I decided to start on a site and begin to develop my layout, pages and content.
I started with a basic home page

These would link out to the journal stories page which has three levels Purple, Gold and Level 2 (these are the focus areas for inferential comprehension)

These then have the PDF version of journal stories in those levels (I have begun to painstakingly make these) below each pdf is a question sheet and a question and answer sheet.

The kahoot page links out to different kahoots teachers could use with their reading groups. Each has a different comprehension focus
I have not been able to make any videos yet. These I would like to do with my students when we go back.
Everything is in a very basic stage at present. I would like to work on content before I work on aesthetics. I have already assigned some of my reading tasks to my readers who are at Level 2. I am video conferencing with them tomorrow to discuss their success with finding the answers by highlighting the keywords in the questions first.
