2020 the year that no one will forget, threw us another curve ball as Auckland went into a second lockdown. This time we were more prepared and the transition went rather smoothly, there was less panic and anxiety. The students knew what to do and our online distance learning programme rolled out the following Monday.
We had much better engagement, as every student took a chromebook (last time students left early as parents got scared and didn't return to pick up a device). We had 93% attendance at online meets and around 80% work completed.
Again I thought this would mean that I would find time to work on my project, but as all best laid plans do, this one was sideswiped by meets, marking and production backdrop painting (we are still hopeful production will go ahead).
I did manage to work on more content. Each journal level page has 6-10 pdfs and questions loaded now, however I am looking forward to being able to see some MIT2020 members face to face and get some advice on aesthetics and other site content at our hui at KPMG next Monday.
