Here is where I begin another professional learning journey. I have been successful in being chosen to be one of the ten teachers in the Manaiakalani Innovative Teachers 2020 programme. This programme helps us to work towards the goal of producing a digital tool to help teachers and students overcome a challenge we have identified.
The first stage is to start our moonshot slide where we outline the challenge we have focused on and then begin to analyse it by breaking down the reasons why it is a challenge/problem, who it is a problem for, why we think this is and two possible initial proposals for how we might overcome this through digital technology.
I have added my slide deck for you to peruse if you wish. My challenge initially (I have since tweaked the wording) was ESOL learners struggle with inferential comprehension in Reading, which impacts their progress.Sarah's Moonshot Slide deck
