Tool Kits - Google Earth

My colleague Rachelle and I attended Gerhards Toolkit for Google Earth. We wanted to see how we could use these in our digital pepehas. Currently the students are using Google Slides with Screencastify over the presentation.
This was my first toolkit hangout. Initially we had trouble with our microphone but then we were away. It was really great to see how Gerhard had used it for his own journey to NZ and the 3D images he captured of the special places that he identifies with. i like how you could track a journey from another country and then zoom into a zone and then the street view. He showed us how to insert slides with photos of family members too. We were both very impressed and wanted to use it immediately ourselves.

It was really interesting seeing how we can capture different views. I hope to have my finished pepeha for you to view soon.
